Frosted Rose Cardigan - Finished!

I actually finished this last weekend but have been waiting for a sunny day so I could get a decent photo.   For the sleeves, I once again did not do any decreases until I got to the seed stitch section and then I decreased 8 stitches evenly around.  This did result in my sleeves being slightly shorter than the pattern called for, but not much.  I weighed my ball of yarn before I started the first sleeve, then again after I had knitted twenty or so rows and did some math to figure out how many rows I could knit to use half the ball  for each sleeve.  I wore this around the house last night with my sweats and a tank top.  Very comfy, a little slouchy, but warm.

Pattern:  Vodka Lemonade by Thea Colman (Baby Cocktails)
Yarn:  Zen Yarn Garden Serenity DK in Frosted Rose
Needles:  US 5 (3.75 mm) and US 4 (3.5 mm)

  1. Your cardigan is beautiful! I have a silly question about the collar -- can you help me please? I'm confused by the instructions which say to slip the last stitch of the row purlwise, then the first stitch of the row is not knit or purled. What happens to it? I'm not sure how to approach it.
    Thanks!

    1. Hi Margaret -

      Thank you :-).

According to my pattern notes I slipped the first and last stitches on the wrong side rows purlwise with the yarn in front. Then on the right side rows you knit the first and last stitches through the back loop. This will give you a lovely edge.

      Hope this helps,
      Carolyn
