Jade Pullover
I finished up one side of the jade pullover through the short row shaping and have started the other side. Once they are both done I will join them and knit the body in the round.

Jade Pullover - Take 2
About a week ago, after almost finishing this pullover, I decided that it would be better if I re-knit it from the top down and used short-row shaping for the sleeves, rather than the provisional cast on that I had done. If I had thought about it when I first cast on, I probably would have realized the top down approach would work best, but sometimes I jump into projects without proper reflection. I don't mind re-knitting, as I always learn from the process, and seldom make the same mistake more than a few times.

Jade - Pullover with Overlap Sleeves
I have also been working on this pullover. It was in my everyday knitting bag until I got to the sleeves, then it sat on my daybed for a while until I finally got back to it. I did a provisional cast on for the increase stitches for the sleeves so there will be no seam when I start the other half of the sleeve.

Fiber Lust
I am in serious fiber lust. I started a simple project to keep in my Namaste bag today. The pattern, called Pullover with Overlap Sleeves, is by Vadis Designs and it uses Tilli Thomas Plie and Beaded Plie. These yarns are 100% plied silk in matching colorways. For this project I am using Jade, although all the colors are so gorgeous it was hard to choose. The yarn is an absolute dream to knit with, seldom have I felt a fiber so wonderful. The color is slightly variegated, which I think is going to look just beautiful in this simple pullover. The only drawback so far (besides the price) is the fact that the color seems to bleed slightly on to my hands while I am knitting, and I don't have especially damp hands.
